FREE LOVE

10 years after narrowly losing out on being prom queen, Julie has nothing to show for herself except a handful of dead-end jobs and a blog her mom thinks is cute. So when she decides to go to her high school reunion, she - like any self-respecting person - makes up extravagant lies about how awesome her life is.



But when Ben, the ex-nerd who made it rich, professes his decade-old crush on her, Julie thinks her luck might be on the mend...until he offers her $100,000 for a one-night stand.

Now Julie must decide just how high a price she is willing to pay to kick-start her life and, along the way, navigate the quagmires of love, sex, and money

Free Love is a  Masters of Fine Arts thesis film  written and directed by Jon Deutsch.



Shot in and around Los Angeles by a cast and crew of up-and-coming artists, it was completed in early January 2013.
